How To Hold Your Digital Camera

Best Cameras 2013

One of the biggest problems that people suffer from with their cameras and taking pictures today is a blurring picture. This is usually because their hands were shaking or they were moving while taking the picture. So how can we eliminate this or minimize it to make sure our pictures always come out the best they can?

Blurring will occur if the camera moves while the lens shutter on the camera is open. So the best way to minimize camera shake of course is to not move the camera. So the goal is to get the camera in as stable a position as possible. Of course the best way is to have a tripod but most of us that are using point and shoots dont tend to have one handy.

Try and always shoot with both hands where possible. It might look cool to try and take pictures with one hand while looking at the screen, but if they come out blurry anyway it makes it a bit pointless. Another tip is to lean against a wall or sit down if you can. The more stable you are the better.

Another tip if you have nothing to lean against is to dig your elbows into yourself which will give you a much better grip on the camera and your arms wont move as much. Hopefully these pointers will help you get less blurry pictures.

Samsung Galaxy Tablet offer 7 inches, more small like Ipad that have 9.7 inch screen. Another option is the Archos 1010 has 10.1 inch screen (huge).
Another interesting option is Toshiba's Libretto that have two 7-inch touch screen.

Almost every tablet support some kind of Wi-Fi, and there're some tricks, some few models support only 802.11 b or g spec. Not is a great options, because if you need strong support for strean media or hard dutie downloads, if better count with 802.11n.

Another point to take care if the tablet can connect via 3G, is optimal, and almost of the case, you get a lot of beneficts. But by the other side maybe you "married" with a carrier, like AT&T for Ipad at USA territory, or Sprint for Samsung Galaxy.

May be you need to considerate that the tablet come with support to GPS, to help you with task for geolocating.

And dont forget the bluetooth connection. It let to transfer files more easy and using headset or headphone via bluetooth.

OS and Apps

The most important choice are Apple Ipad OS and Apps from iTune, and Google's Android OS. But each has advantages and drawbacks.

Another options to be considerate is the new Windows 7 for tablet pc with nice features. And the RIM with the OS for Playbook Tablet.

But you need to take a look to several apps to considerate you more valuable for use that you'll do with tablet. Android apps market have a lots of several application for each possible task.

Samsung Galaxy S 8GB Wi-Fi MP3 Player

First impressions

I did not know I was getting this item ( it was a surprise gift) so when I first seen it I was very surprised, it was visually appealing and really slick looking. it was also boxed really well I was actually surprised how much came out the box. it felt great in my hands not to big and not to small, the weight was also fairly light. I could reach the top and bottom of the screen with my thumb which may not sound important but it's useful if you're only using one hand. So it's fair to say that the first impressions of the product was pretty good.

What is the product capable of?

You can do a lot more than just listen to music on this thing...It has maps + GPS navigation, email, web browsing, social networking applications,
voice recorder, video recorder, task manager, Quickoffice, youtube, books and much more the list could really go keep going for a long time. This is because you can download and install most apps for this product, there are hundreds of apps to choose from. Some of the apps I got and tried myself are Skype, MSN, Spotify, Amazon Kindle and a few more and they all work really well. Because the product has a camera on the rear and front along with a microphone it is possible to have video conversations through skype. The speed of this product is very good I have not had a problem with it yet. The whole feel is slick from looks to actual use, this makes it easy to use and enjoyable. You can also customize certain menu's so they suit you better. The battery last quite a while and should not raise any problems.

Sound Quality

The sound quality is really good for a device like this, you get free headphone with this and the quality is great. Of course it could be better but there is no need for it to be . The headphones also fit the ears really well an'd do not really hurt after wearing them for a while like most, they do a good job keeping background sound out too. Based on what I have experienced you should not have any problems with this.

Will you become bored of this product?

It seems highly unlikely that you will become bored of this product... with a wide range of apps (constantly expanding) web browsing, video streaming and social networking it's pretty much impossible to become bore of it. This apply s even more if you love reading due to the ability to read from the Amazon kindle app. I pretty much consider this to be a handheld computer and to me there is always something new to do on a computer.

New Mirrorless Cameras for 2013

What are mirrorless cameras?

Mirrorless micro four thirds cameras in a nutshell

Mirrorless cameras are the perfect synthesis between a compact camera and a DSLR. They are small, portable and easy to use like a compact, but possess the large high quality sensor of a professional DSLR. The biggest difference between mirrorless cameras and DSLRs is that mirrorless cameras, as the name explicitly states, lack a mirror-based optical viewfinder. It is for this reason that these cameras are able to have such a compact design. To find out more about the technology behind mirrorless cameras, click here.

This is what I like best about the Samsung Tablet :

Option to increase its storage capacity with a microSD card

Sony DCR SX45

A great option for less than $150

Sony DCR
This Sony DCR-SX45 gives you a 3 inch LCD touch screen and features a built in LED video light. The Carl Zeiss Vario Tessar lens was designed just for small camcorders. It also incorporates SteadyShot image stabilization so you don't end up with blurry pictures.

You have a ton of options for scene combinations, 36 to be exact, so you get the best pictures every time. It took awhile for me to navigate all options and learn which ones produced which effect but once I got the hang of it, it was very fun. I like that it has a zoom lens but also a built in zoom microphone so hearing your subjects is easier than ever.

The face detection works like a charm and even makes skin tones look more flattering. It comes with a USB cable for easier file transferring, includes Sony PMB software which gives you a way to organize your images. If you are used to HD quality, then you might be disappointed in this product since the images won't match up to HD very well. For average users though, this ends up being a good product for the price.

Samsung MV800 Digital Camera

Affordable and User Friendly

The Samsung MV800 Digital Camera is a highly rated little thing. This tiny camera is good for small pockets or purses. It features a 26mm wide angle lens with a 5x optical zoom.

It comes with a 3 inch flip out display that lets you take pictures from nearly any angle; the LCD can rotate from 0 to 80 degrees so you get the shot you want even if it isn't in the ideal spot. For instance, you can hold it up high and get a shot from over the heads of a crowd or you can take very nicely framed self portraits.

There are three different shutter options as well to give you more versatility. I think the best feature is being able to pause recording without having to take a whole new video. A drawback to this is that low light pictures are really bad, but with photo editing software nowadays, you can lighten those up easily. This is a very affordable and user friendly camera that you will enjoy when shooting your YouTube videos.

Fujifilm FinePix S4000 Digital Camera

Next up is the Fujifilm FinePix S4000 Digital Camera. With this device you get 14 megapixels and a 30x zoom lens which is very nice for taking shots when your subject is very far away. The display is an LCD 3 inch and it features an electronic viewfinder.

I was most impressed with the panoramic shots that took very smooth big pictures. This camera also requires an HDMI cable that is not included, for easier viewing on your HD device. It has smile and blink detection to make sure you get a good shot every time. With a warning sound, the camera will let you know if one of your subjects have blinked so you can take another.

I also really liked the image searching function. Once you tag and name 8 of your most frequent subjects, the camera will recognize that person in every photo taken from that point forward. This helps you narrow down your search when looking for a specific picture. I think the biggest drawback to this camera is how slow the response time is. This makes it hard to catch kids, sports or animal life but other than that, the camera has held up under rugged use and is very user friendly.

Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera

YouTube filmmakers also use this Nikon Coolpix S8000 Digital Camera as well. This camera features 14.2 megapixels that make beautiful prints up to 20x30 believe it or not. It's got a wide angle 10x zoom with a glass lens. You get a 3 inch LCD color display that makes playback a nice experience.

I like how the screen still shows the picture clearly even in bright daylight. This camera does take HD video and you can get up to 1.5 hours of movies. HDMI output gives you very nice playback on a TV or computer. The face detection and skin smoothing technology in this camera is one of the best I have found thus far. It can detect as many as 12 faces in the shot and it automatically adjusts the focus and exposure.

I also like that it has a red eye fix feature that fixes it before it saves the image to the memory. I noticed that the shutter can be hard to press at times and my finger gets in the way of the flash. This camera also comes with its own camera bag.

Flip UltraHD Video Camera

Very Small and Compact

Flip Ultra
Flip UltraHD Video Camera is a high definition camera. You get up to 2 hours of HD video on this device. It is so user friendly; you simply push the big red button to begin recording.

The design of this model is slimmer than ones before so it is more compact for you and easier to travel with. You get FlipShare software with it as well that lets you edit your images, send greeting cards or create custom movies. I must say, this feature was very entertaining for me and my family appreciates all that I've been able to create with this software.

You can hook this up to your HDTV with a micro cable so you can enjoy your videos on a bigger screen. It comes with a rechargeable battery pack, a wrist strap, soft protective case and a user guide. I wish that the case was more rugged to protect from being banged on and dropped but I just use an old camera bag for it. I've noticed that this camera does not take the best images in low light or with fast moving objects. But for fun and quick videos, this works fairly well.
